Griffin Survivor Extreme-Duty Case - case for web,green/black

Nice product and will protect my iPad from damage (I've already replaced the screen twice...). My only picks are, the plastic screen protection scratches, gets marked up very easily and looks like there is moisture between the iPad glass and the plastic screen protector plus, three of the tabs that hold the frame to the face of the iPad have already broken because I had to keep taking it apart to clean what appeared to be moisture off the glass. Kinda disappointed given what I paid for this highly rated case....UPDATE: I contacted Griffin and informed them of my issue with the case and after I sent them pictures immediately told me they would send me a new one free of charge! Now that is customer service!!!!! I'm a fan of these guys!!!

I think my situation is pretty typical... Mom has her I-Pad, kids think its their personal gaming system. Kids drop said I pad every once in a while driving Mom crazy!! Anywho, I had to get a sturdy cover and this it great!!! It is really cool looking too. We just brought this on vacation and my son didn't actually drop my I pad- because this is so easy to grip. But if he had, I would not have been worried at all. My only tiny complaint is that when the stand is attached, you can't move the volume down. So I took it off and everything was fine. Oh and its super easy to put on, and all cables fit fine when its on too. :)

My young teen had a Clam Case to protect his iPad that is required for school. The Clam Case was recommended as solid protection, however he managed to crack three corners and loose some of the keys. He does have a tendency to break things, so I wasn't completely surprised.For his second case, we purchased the Survivor Extreme-Duty. He uses his iPad thoughout the day, every day and isn't always careful or even conscious of how he treats his belongings. This case has been used for eight months and looks as good as when we first put it on. No nicks, scratches or marks on the case and it has protected the iPad beautifully.Griffin will be the case we buy when our younger child is required to get an iPad for school too. It offers superb protection.

This case could be better. I am going to keep using it. It is holding up mostly well. This cover looks great and really protects the Ipad. There have been a lot of reviews about fake Griffin Cases but this one is the real deal! I checked the product and packaging as described in other posted and this is a real Griffin case. It is pretty easy to put on. My only complaint is the front side camera is not very clear through the plastic cover but I guess that's the price you pay for this level of protection. The price on Amazon can't be beat! I will recommend this case to everyone.

This case was required by my son's school for their IPads. The price on Amazon was about half what we would have paid in the store so I was really pleased. When the case arrived we were impressed with the quality and the coverage it provided for the IPad which is probably why the school made us order it in the first place. I feel like if he drops it there probably won't be any damage. The only thing that we aren't completely happy with is there are removable covers for the speaker and the plug which are difficult for the kids to put back on themselves as there is a small tab which needs to be fitted into a hole. We had to actually remove the IPad from the case to put it back on and that's a little bit of a project. That's the only reason I gave this 4 stars. Otherwise we are really happy with it and would definitely buy it again.

I recently received an iPad from my employer, but we were expected to provide the protective case. An engineering acquaintance recommended the Griffin Survivor, due to it's military specifications for resistance to shock, vibration, wind, dust, rain, etc.This thing has not disappointed me! We have 1 free replacement of our iPad as part of our Apple iCare insurance, so I decided to put this case through it's paces. :) It has withstood drops, shakes, coffee spills, etc. and not missed a beat. The only thing it really won't protect against is a direct hit to the screen itself.The only negative (if you want to call it that) are the two removable port covers on the back (for the rear facing camera and speaker) have a tendency to come off after being dropped. It's easy enough to reattach them, but it's a slight annoyance.The $43 or so that it cost for this case is WELL worth the investment to protect your $500+ iPad.

Very easy to install and I love the screen protector. The armor is well designed while not making the unit too heavy. I have accidentally dropped my IPod and the Survivor protected it perfectly! I am tough on stuff and this really fulfills my needs.

Very good quality and comfortable in hands, my children dropped ipad so many times but its always safe because of this case

Very good quality product. My wife and I both have this product on our ipads and like them very much. Great protection for ipad body and screen. Does add a fair amount of weight to the device bu well worth it.
