This is very subtle BUT very effective and easy. I was shocked. Yes you will need to practice a few times. I learned that lifting the lid up from above with the eye lid lifter as opposed to pushing the eyelid up was easiest. Just got slightly about the eyelid crease - almost a little on top of it. I gently wiped my kids with a cotton ball and alcohol to remove oil. This adhesive isn't going anywhere until you remove it. Super pleased with this until I can afford an actual blephorplasty. It peels off very easy. Also - be VERY gentle when removing from the plastic - gently pry it with very sharp tweezers like it says - if you damage it at all it will not go in smooth and adhere.

I finally got around to writing a review after about a month using these eyelid tapes. They're fairly easy to use but I don't know why, I can never get it on perfectly. I've used it every day for over a month and each time I still have to use 2 or 3 pieces. My skills probably have something to do with it but I've used eyelid tape in the past and don't remember being so frustrated. I tried to follow the instructions on the package but right off the bat, something was different. It was supposed to be a prong with a wide end to draw the crease but mine came as a pointy almost toothpick size. So when I try to crease the eyelid with it, it's like stabbing/cutting myself and that ended quickly. The instructions says it can't be reuse and they weren't kidding. I don't even try to reuse it but once it's on the eyelid for even a second and you remove it, don't count on using it again. It does stay on pretty well if you put it correctly the first time. I had that happened maybe 5 times. But even after using it for a month, I still can't put it on perfectly the first time. I've read previous reviews that say good thing there's so many on each pack. I guess I'm a pessimist cuz I see it as being ineffective and wasteful. I rather have that many to actually be useful instead of it being used up due to trial and error. I will probably try another brand because this one doesn't work for me.

Look, I don’t know why these work. It doesn’t logically seem like it would, but for some reason, this truly does decrease the appearance of hooding on my eyelid. Overall, they are worth the price and they do work. Detailed review below. Pros: -They do what they are supposed to do -They are pretty easy to use -You get a TON for a cheap price and you get the tools to apply them. -While they aren’t invisible, they aren’t super noticeable either -they stay in place all day. Cons: -They aren’t easy to move around if you get them in the wrong place, nor are they consistently easy to get off the plastic backing and if it folds onto itself you gotta get a new one because there’s no unfolding or getting that end to stick. -the instructions could be clearer on where the best place on the lid is to apply them for various hooding. So if your hooding is like mine, I found they work better if they are less in the center and more toward the inner corner of my eye. But I had to figure this out myself. Would’ve been cool to see instructions that shows various application locations and benefits. -They aren’t invisible. They are white opaque. If you are a person of color, they will show. -they don’t get less visible with makeup. Despite using eyelid primer and quality makeup, they still show and in fact are more noticeable with makeup on them. Still they are only noticeable if your eyelids are closed or you are very drastically lifting your eye brows, and not enough to discourage me personally from using them. You may be able to play around with different types of cream shadows to see if it could be covered more. I plan to do this.
