Off to buy a real scanner to do the job this one failed to complete. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy, but not universally perfect. *by T***E on January 24, 2025* I really like the portability of this device, and it works very well for my uses, which is to scan pages in a library or university collection without a bulky setup. It does have a serious tendency of causing distortion to things like photographs due to the imperfect nature of dragging it manually down a page, where it easily falls into skew. It's great for not having to break a book spine saying it out flat on a scanner, though. It does have a lot of luminesce banding, and the brightness can be streaky across and down because it only lights the surface when movement is detected, and not consistently. I'd love to see a software update for this someday soon, or to have a library to make my own.
