Well made much improved over my old one which is some kind of plastic. Whips batter nicely and I use it a lot to mix hot chocolate. Nothing gets caught in between the metal. Cleans up nicely by just running water through it.

I purchased this a few months ago to replace my standard whisk. I was pleased with a few things: the overall weight is perfect, it does a great job whisking, and the design is one that allows for an easier grip. All that said, the stems started to fall out - which leaves a hole in the handle for water to accumulate. The stems do not screw in so once it is out it is out. I debated about getting some industrial glue but idk if I will do that. Oh, and the usage was maybe once a week and it was not tasked with whisking heavy items.

Recently my son started cooking and found a cool egg technique that suggested using ball whisks to make it easier. Based on experience from a few years ago, I was not convinced a ball whisk was a good investment.These changed my mind.The first ball whisk I used had flimsy tines with balls that were too light to be useful. These whisks are far from that. I love the stiffness of the tines. I love the weight of the balls. I am not gentle on my kitchen tools - fortunately these are sturdy without being painfully heavy.The handles are simple and comfortable to hold. My hand position is in the middle for a strong mix and it feels good. I shift my hand position to the end for more of a “flick” motion and it still feels good.I’d be happy to buy these again as a gift for someone starting to provision a kitchen. I’d say I would by them again for myself, but they are sturdy enough I won’t need to!

I actually purchased these as a gift several times. They allow you to reach all the corners of your skillets and kettles as well a preventing lumps. I refuse to make gravy without one!
