VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Carbon Vinyl Automotive Wrap Film DIY Easy to Install No Mess (1ft x 5ft, Black)

My order arrived quickly and as described. The actual product consists of three layers: a thin, clear protective layer, the actual faux carbon fiber vinyl, and a white paper backing. When unrolling the product, you'll find that the product will want to spring back into the curled form quite aggressively, so much so that the clear film will crinkle and separate from the vinyl in places. Don't worry, as this is completely normal and the vinyl is what is important, not the film or backing. The vinyl itself was very impressive. I've worked with quite a few vinyl appliques, and this one seems to be of very good quality (though I'll reserve my final decision for when it's been on the car for an extended period). Application was straightforward and I found that I could get away with applying it to fairly complex parts without having to resort to window film spray, though on larger pieces I would definitely recommend it. Once the film was in place, some gentle application of heat with a heat gun set it in place and allowed it to conform perfectly to the piece. Running a soft cloth over the surface helped to set it in place and press it into small recesses. In sunlight, this product really stands out. Light will reflect from the "carbon fibers" in a highly realistic fashion. I am exceptionally happy with the look and have high hopes that it remains durable for years to come.

Best vinyl I ever purchased, looks absolutely amazing, looks real, and it definitely was worth buying, however I should have purchased more cause I've been looking now for things just to wrap this stuff around it looks so good lol. So far as you can see in my picture's I've wrapped my smok xcube 2 vape mod,and it's looking pretty sexy lol and I've wrapped the beer tower's in this carbon vinyl and as you can see, and it's beautiful.I'm no pro and I think I did half decent. Very easy to cut and install on just about anything I stuck it on. Even covered the back plate of my cell. It's been getting compliments all day from my club member's and everyone thinks it's real. Next I think I'll be wrapping my coasters on the bar. Can't wait to order more!!! This is a no brainer, give this company your money. And just enjoy it. Would highly recommend this product 100% and look forward to repeated buisness.

I like the appearance, but it was hard to work with and the adhesion was not as sticky as I would have liked, it has started to lift around edges/corners. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product.

Sticks really well. easy to manipulate and fold around mirror caps and rounded surfaces. not too thick good quality vinyl. still good after 2 years.

I've never liked vinyl carbon fiber, it always looks very fake and cheap. However, I really wanted some trim pieces in my car to be carbon fiber. I searched around and stumbled on this product. I decided to give it a go, along with 3 other brands and I would simply pick whichever I liked best. I had never heard of VVIVID before so I wasn't expecting too much. Holy cow was I wrong. As soon as I took all the vinyls out of the box, I immediately knew which one to use. This stuff looks great, it has depth and reflects light more like carbon. I was so impressed with the looks that I packed up all the rest and sent them back. I just spent the past few hours wrapping some trim pieces with it. It is quite a bit thicker than most other vinyls, so it will definitely take some heat to get it to do what you want. Some people say it doesn't stick, but they must not have watched the companies installation videos on how to activate the adhesives. It is designed not to be too sticky at first so you can reposition it easily, then you activate the adhesives with heat according to their instruction. I had no problem getting it to fit very complex curves and corners. It seems to stick very well. IMO, you need to get the "VVIVID Epoxy High Gloss Black Carbon fiber", their other carbons dont look as great as this does. All in all, I liked the end result so much that I logged onto Amazon at 1 am to write this review. :D

I had gotten a new Mercedes that had the wood grain interior. I wanted to update it with a carbon fiber look. I had heard great things about Vivid so I ordered a roll to try. I wrapped the dash panel first and when I was finished it looked more grey than black. I was wondering if it was my kitchen lights so I reinstalled the panel into my car and still looked more grey than black. Not happy! So I contacted Vivid twice & spoke with the same gal regarding this and even sent them pictures at which point she agreed that it did not look black. So after her telling me that they would send me a different type of carbon wrap out I haven't received anything from them or an email replay back. So I decided this past Saturday to stick my car in the hot sun and wait and then rip all of it off the dash panel and toss it in the trash. So much for that exercise in futility! Don't wast your time or money on this product!

Product looks ok, not as good as I was expecting based on other reviews. The self adhesive did not work for me as it kept wanting to peel off interior plastic trim. I had to use contact cement to get it to stick well.

Best carbon fiber wrap i have ever order. 100% recommended.

Really happy with this carbon wrap. Used a heat gun to wrap carbon around door handle, easy to use and looks great!

Check out a few DIY guides on youtube before trying it out. It'll save you a lot of money.

Only giving this 4 stars from r now as I just used some on a few interior parts of my truck. We Will see how it holds up. If it holds up well we’ll definitely be back to upgrade to 5 stars. Product is very easy to work with. I’m a first timer on wrapping and it went pretty well. Has to do some parts a few times has my hand slipped and I over cut the vinyl. The product stretches very well as long as you add some heat. This is the cheapest way to see if you have what it takes to wrap. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested.

We bought this product for car project ,not yet use it . Looks very durable
