Great soap!
After getting the sample pack of 9 different soaps, I liked the scent of Trade Winds the best. Chiseled Face has a wide variety of scents and a great soap base that makes a good lather. This one is high in my soap rotation for wet shaving.

great lather
This is a tremendous product. Scent not over powering but strong. I have been wet shaving for 30 years and this is one of the best soaps I have used.

Good texture.
Good performance. The scent profile is not my favorite. Wish there was some way to smell very small samples of all the scents.

Will recommend your product to others
So I love my beard, and old fashion razors and soaps.I bought this and several others last weekend on a whim.Passed it around with some friends to smell and it is gorgeous.using it is also fantastic, the product is almost alarmingly good I way over estimated how much I'd needed and had a huge supply of luxurious product on my neck and jaw line very quickly. It does not bother your skin, nor does it leave much residue behind. Pretty sure it's got some kind of magic in it; the ladies loved it when the got a whiff. Will recommend your product to others.

Makes Captain Aubrey Feel at Home
I cannot begin to tell you how good this smells. It smells like you're a few yards from the surf, smelling the sea in all its glory. Salty with a slight citrus scent. The scent is what will make me come back to try other Groomatorium scents. The lather is a bonus. It is really easy to lather to the desired consistency. I whipped it till it has that slight shine to it.I will buy it again.

Wonderful shaving soap
Wonderful shaving soap. I’ve tried many. This lathers up as well as any and frovides a superior shave compared to the costly British and German soaps I’ve bought. Even during the winter it doesn’t cause my skin to become dry or irritated. I’m baffled by the name of the scent; it simply smells like citrus zest to me. Anyway it is very pleasant.

Not bad, but doesn’t deliver for the money
The product lathers really well and works well with the brush. It goes on a little thin, but is still fine with the razor. The reasons to give it three stars is for the thin lather and the smell. When I say thin lather I mean that it never gets really fluffy like marshmallow cream. It’s more like just using a bar of soap and creating a lather from that. It’s soapy and stands up, but it’s not fluffy to me.It also doesn’t seem to do much in the way of moisturizing. I generally use Mitchell’s wool fat or Blades Grim, so I like thick fluffy lather that delivers a lot of moisture to the skin so that I don’t have to use moisturizer after. Especially in the winter months. The smell is fine, but it smells a lot like Irish Spring soap. It immediately took me back to the days of my childhood with that old green bar. It’s not overly strong and it doesn’t hang with you for very long, so all in all it’s not bad, but not necessarily unique either.I’m the end I gave this soap three stars and for me that seems fair. I look for thickness of lather, moisturization from the lather, and smell. When those three come together perfectly then that’s a product I love. This product isn’t bad at all, but it just falls a bit short on those three fronts for me. I expected more for the price and probably won’t drop the coin for this one again.

Good for a soap
First it is a shave soap not a cream. I point this out because I generally prefer creams, easier on the face and I think a better shave. Having said that, as a soap it is creamier than other soaps. It does a nice job. If you like shave soaps you will really like this product.
