DR Strings Tite Fit Electric Round Core 13-56

I've been using DR Tite Fits for about 4 years on all of my guitars. Out of all brands, these I recommend. I mainly play hard rock/heavy metal, to clean ambient/jazzy stuff. These strings suit all kinds of genres of music.The life of these strings really amaze me, as they sound new for quite some time, and I play at least once a day. I have yet to have one string break on me as long as I have been using them.Tone wise, I find them to have fantastic sustain and ring very clear. Doing any vibrato or "squealies" can be done effortlessly, as these strings take bends very well. I use the 13-56 on a Washburn tuned to either Drop A# or Drop B. I personally like the wound 3rd string of the DR's better than the Ernie Ball's with the plain steel 3rd string, which felt too thick and didn't ring well at all. I use the 11-50 set for Standard D or Drop C. Perfect tone with EMG pickups.Overall I would recommend these to anyone.

I play these on a Chiquita-like short scale. (19"). They tune to E nicely with good feel. Stay in tune no problem.

I will continute to buy these strings. I play heavy metal (ex Death Metal) and these strings work perfectly. I hate how most sets the third string sounds terrible, but this set has a wound third and it works awesome, especially for drop tuning.

If you play a Baritone and Metal....they sound amazing.

This was my first time purchasing DR Strings. I was looking for something with good tension for pitch for my home built baritone guitar. These sounded great. Bright and clean and clear and could achieve a low pitch without getting “floppy.” Had em on for a while now and they are maintaining their tone and playability - I love them. I received these very quickly as well. Great purchase.
