Review: This multipurpose Sizzix platform has an additional thin layer compared to the regular platforms, which gives it extra correctness when using with embossing folders. I wasn't sure about the layers being attached to each other, but it all works just perfectly. It doesn't move around when you use it. I also love the size. All just works perfectly with my Big Shot. Although it is a bit pricey, when you hold it in your hand, the materials speak for themselves. We have no choice getting this particular product when in need, but you get what you pay for.
Review: I purchased my Big Shot machine some years ago and have found it a really useful craft tool. However, when wafer-thin dies were first introduced, I could not use them and it was necessary to buy the multi purpose platform (which is now included with the new Big Shot machine.) I am so pleased with this product, which enables me to easily produce such delicate die cuts. Over the years I have collected many Sizzix dies, beginning with the Originals. I was then delighted to discover delicate Sizzix wafer-thin dies. Having started crafting with the "press-down handle-type" Sizzix die-cutter many years ago, I can thoroughly recommend Sizzix products.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this same as the magnetic platform used with thin dies?**
A: No it is not, it isn't magnetic at all.  The magnetic platform is much better when trying to line up items to cut with a stamped item.

**Q: does this platform replace the need for the solo thin die adapter for use with the Vagabond?**
A: It covers both embossing & die cutting. Mine arrived with hinges broken, I just use it the way it is.

**Q: how long is this platform?**
A: I believe it is 6 1/2 wide by 13 long.  It is the same width as the standard platform.

**Q: If you have the Big Shot and buy this, you do not need the Solo Wafer Thin Adaptor, right??**
A: I do have a Big Shot and I do not use a wafer.
