What’s the difference between these and the 5160 labels?

5160 is only compatible with laser printers. The 18260 will work with both laser and inkjet printers. Also the quantity is different. Both 5160 and 18260 us the same template for printing. We hope this helps!

According to Avery, Label 18160 will work for either inkjet or laser printing.

How do I get the template on my Mac to print to the labels? Canon laser printer.

You go to www.avery.com make a free account. Then choose what label size you have and it will allow you to design and edit them. It is amazing and really easy to use (more user friendly then downloading the template on Microsoft Word or Excel which you can do as well). From there, click the option review and print. It will send it to the printer you have connected. Hope this helps!

Are they truly smudge free when using in an inkjet printer?

I have an ink jet and have never had a problem with smudge. You may want to wait a few seconds after printing to be sure the ink is dry.
