Great book if you are studying fashion. It is a book that you can dip in and out of. The pictures in the book are gorgeous . May give you inspiration if you are interested in vintage. Go back to this book when I want to look at beautiful fashions.

Was hoping to see lots of photos of very elegant sophisticated dresses (like the ones Grace Kelly usually wore) but the book has very few of these. It's great for if you're into the history of fashion and want to know how it evolved, but if you want a book that just has photos of magnificent dresses then this isn't for you

What a wonderful book! Such a record of beautiful ladies wearing beautiful dresses. I keep going back to ponder them again and again, what a heritage to have.

If you want to spoil your self or someone who is a fashion fanatic, this is the book. It is crammed with the most beautiful photographs and interesting items.Still a bit expensive even at Amazon prices...but go on, spoil yourself, you're worth it.
