Too simple, not very informative

It’s all alright, but in every book the author is either avoiding the mother figure or is being unfair to the mother figure.Mother is all the time referred to as ‘mother’ and father as ‘dad’ .Why not mum and dad or mother and father?That is psychologically not right

I bought this to read to my 4yo and 6yo. It's straightforward and easy for them to understand. There are prompts to ask your child what makes them feel safe and unsafe etc and gives opportunity to discuss making a safety network withyour child. There are loads of ideas for adults at the back of the book to generate further discussion with children or go into greater depth about feelings, privacy, secrets and safety.

I bought this book for my own peace of mind really, as my 4yo was off on holiday clubs for the first time and I was nervous about him keeping his privates private etc. Well the book gave all 3 of my kids some giggles and was not uncomfortable reading or anything. It helped in that it was a conversation starter. It's very tricky as it's hard for young children (and any normal person of any age) to comprehend why someone might behave in an inappropriate way. But the fact of the matter is, there are such people in the world and kids need to know to shout like crazy if they are unlucky enough to encounter them.

Ok so your daughter is 9 and think she’s knows it all as she’s above average in school and Ofcourse LIFE !!! So how do you tell her without scaring the BJesus out of her ! Well it went smoothly until we got to tentacles( testicles ) and she argued with me that they are balls ! It explained EVERY BODY PART , in boys and girls and feelings ie scared , anxiety etc ! This is the perfect book with out frightening them . It explains perfectly!

Excellent book, a must have for all children’s book shelves, important lessons, explained in a child friendly way & my 3 year old daughter understood the message very well & joined in repeating the words, very well thought about & put together, highly recommend, brilliant amazing & very pleased with how the book goes about explaining important lessons & making it easy for her to understand, great
