Q: I have an older wall mounted grohe hand held. Are all the shower head connections compartible?? Mine has a click on head, not a screw on head.??

This shower head requires a screw connection from a hose.

Q: Does this unit comes with stainless steel hose?

I believe that the hose was purchased separately. The hose was also the same "starlight chrome" finish, however, the threading on the hand shower would work with any hose you might find. Just FYI- this hand shower is not actually metal, if it was then anytime it might slip out of your hand it would rip your tub's finish off.

Q: I installed the showerhead but nothing works. every time i press a button, nothing happens. am i doing something wrong?

The button are a two step button you need to make sure it pushed all the way down. You can take a video of yours and e-mail it to us-customerservice@grohe.com and we can help troubleshoot the issue.

Q: is there a valve on the hand held shower to turn off the water flow?

There is no valve to turn off the water on the shower head. There are four buttons that change the flow pattern, but none of them turn the flow off.
