Does the Job at a Decent Price
I needed a solution for getting the audio from a mixing console into a new iPad Pro (with USB Connector) whilst recording video on the iPad. The item is plug and play, the iPad uses the audio connector and replaces the audio source from the inbuilt mix whilst plugged in. Build quality is OK, feels reasonably solid if not robust and certainly suitable for light use.Not entirely sure where they plucked up the idea of an RRP of £22.99, I paid £7.99 and it's worth that, I wouldn't want to pay any more for it.Sound quality is perfectly acceptable for the application and I'm pleased with the purchase.

Workable Solution to External Mic on MacBook Pro
After a multitude of splitters and microphoneS with every combination of TS, TRS and TRRS with little success I tried this USB-C converter with no expectation.Every microphone that had previously failed to work on a MacBook Pro 2019 worked through this device with the lid both open and closed. Properly impressed, no extra converters required.Pink for mic, green for phones.

It's worked only once
I tried it and it didn't work, unplugged it and tried again and nope didn't work. Tried again and it worked, then again and again and didn't work. It's very unreliable and not even worth a quarter of the price.

Replacement for broken on board audio
Laptop's built in mic died whilst I was teaching, bought this to replace it with my clip on mic since my laptop doesnt have an audio jack. Works great. Plug and play, nice and easy.

Audio input level is too low
Audio output to my headphones worked OK. However audio input from my microphone to Windows 10 was was far too low. Despite adjusting the Windows 10 microphone settings to the maximum volume, I had to shout to even register my voice.
