Was surprised that “shelves” were actually a light weight fabric but actually they have worked out wellYou have to be careful assembling as it is easy to put the corners in incorrectly... then you’re back to square oneI wanted room for taller boots so simply omitted the shelf in those rows and voila!This unit fit perfectly into the space I created for it and by buying a second one I can now store ALL my boots and shoes in my small space

This unit is nothing extravagant ergo the reasonable pricing. It is packed well, with instructions. Poles are bagged per sizing and bags are labelled. After putting a few shelves together, I got into a rhythm and figured out what worked best for me to put them together. 1st. Put a connector on 1 end of 2 long poles. 2nd. Join the long poles with the medium pole and slide the shelf cover on (see pic 1) 3rd. Put other medium pole on the end. 4th. Put short poles in (as seen on top of pic 4) 5th. Connect the shelf. To further make the shelf unit sturdy, I used a piece of cardboard over each top pole and tapped "gently but firmly" with a hammer to make sure they were connected securely. You could make several shorter units as shown in pic 3. Pic 5 is set up and shows it hold quite a few pairs of footwear. Boots are laid down on 2nd from bottom shelf. (If you did not want to lay them down, you could put a shelf in "without" the shelf sleeve to give it extra height. Hope this was helpful. I would buy again or another unit if I need to in the future.

It's easy enough to put together at the end of the day but arrows would be helpful for time saving.The black polls are horrible. I got cut 3 times on my hands as the ends are sharp and will cut you. They're also thin so they easily bend, I had a couple that were bent but as they're so thin they were easy to round back so that they fit in the ends.The plastic 3 way ends are too thin also and break fairly easily but luckily they included extra 3 way ends so I got away with it. I hope including extra pieces was intentional, otherwise I can see a lot of people being very unhappy.I gave 3 stars because it the rack works at the end of the day but we'll see about longevity. If it fall apart by just picking shoes off and putting them back I'll be back to change my review. I took two stars away because I got cut up.

This shoe rack is lightweight and reasonably sturdy. Perhaps not the sturdiest and I would recommend anchoring to a wall but it does the job.Assembly is easy but takes a long time. I used a rubber mallet to ensure the connections were tight as well. Had I planned it better, I would have skipped a few of the shelf to allow for boots to fit in since the height of each shelf is quite minimal.Overall, it's good and does the job.

It arrived in a very compact box and it was all disassembled.It took me all night to assemble it!But it is easy to assemble. You might want to wear gloves as it hurts after a while.The structure is made of light plastic.And the shelves seem a little weak. So I wouldn't put too much weight on them or anything sharp like some high heals…Most shoes fit well. You might have to put only 2 pairs of men shoes per shelves.It does the job!
