Very interesting and entertaining book.

Books arrived intact with two layers of plastic even though the title was a paperback.The second book in this consignment arrived in a pathetic shape, wuth only the delivery packaging.

Where to start!Two weeks prior, I watched a movie called AIR, basically the movie is all about the Air Jordan deal between Nike and Michael Jordan. in the movie Phil Knight the Founder of NIKE played his character Ben Affleck, the movie has a lot of great characters played by great actors but the one struck me the most was Phil knight (Ben Affleck) he is kinda weird in the movie.I always loved NIKE shoes since a young age couldn't afford them young but always were a fan but I knew nothing about the brand, so after I watched the movie I started doing some research on Phil Knight and i found that he has a book or a memoir as described, so ordered it and it did arrived the next day. was in need for some scenery changes I was having a reading slump, took my self and the book to the nearest coffee shop and i indulged that suddenly I found that I drank two large coffees in a period of two hours, totally lost inside what I would call it the best read I ever had for this year (ironically it's what Warren buffet described as well)Warren Buffet: "The best book I read last year. Phil is ... a gifted storyteller.'And indeed he is, this book ignited a flame within me to keep on writing and to look at the world from a whole different perspective.Loved every bit of this book and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking to be inspired. Funny thing while reading the book kept imagining Phil's as Ben Affleck half through the book I needed to change that imagination started looking at pictures of real Phil :) You can start small in life, you can be in debt for long but the matter is to keep going even when the world have tendencies to knock you down again and again and again you just get up and keep going and simply JUST DO IT.

This book, written by the founder Phil Knight, tells into the details the story of the original idea (the "Crazy Idea") to import training shoes from Japan, and in the following develop own line of shoes with new brand, up to the planetary success (the book written in 2016). From the first years, following the circles of equity and credits (always in debt, every year heavier) to the stock quotation.A true autobiography, in the form of memoir, always ironic and with touch of fighting every day a new challenge. Sometimes epic.Economic paperback, easy to read and compact.Non avevo mai conosciuto nei dettagli la storia della NIKE. Questo libro scritto dal suo fondatore, Phil Knight, racconta nei dettagli tutta la storia dall'idea originale (the crazy idea) di importare scarpe da ginnastica dal Giappone, e poi svilupparne una nuova collezione con proprio brand, fino al successo planetario (il libro è stato scritto nel 2016), dai primi anni del continuo inseguire equity e crediti (in perenne debito) fino alla quotazione in borsa. Molto autobiografia dell'autore, sempre ironico, e con un graffiante senso di combattere ogni giorno una nuova sfida. A tratti epico.Formato economico molto compatto e piacevole da leggere.
