Works OK up to a limit
Works well to prevent sweat dripping into eyes, and worked well as advertised to reasonably cool the head up to relatively high temp and humidity, but beyond a certain point it is just a sweatband. Perhaps a bit harsh as the temperatures beyond where it works are pretty high. It’s OK below about 28C with max 70% humidity, but above that stops cooling...

Best thing ever
I admittedly sweat like a lumber jack at the gym and I’m a woman. I stumbled onto one of these a year ago and thought it couldn’t make a difference. But I tried it anyway. It worked really well! Wet it, whip it around, put it on. Do I look like all I’m missing are leg warmers and a unitard? Yes. Do I care? Slightly. But it does keep me cooler, less sweating, and at least my hair isn’t wet when I leave the gym. I use it outside to work in the yard, I’ve even considered sleeping with it on. Rinse it out, air dry, use again the next day. I have both the head band and neck one. I use both on my head. They last, don’t lose stretch or cut off circulation. I have a smaller head and can’t wear those cute headbands to keep hair out of my face, they just slide off. Not these head bands. They stay put for burpees( everyone’s favorite), running like a pack of rapid wolves are chasing you, or that sad example of a push up you’re doing.Buy three. You won’t regret it

Stays cool for 15 mins only, then turns into hot wet rag
The headband only stayed cool for ~15 mins while on a run. I re-snapped it a few times but it never got below my body temp after that initial 15 mins. Because the material is thicker and heavier than other running headbands, it kept more of the sweat and heat so it made my head feel hotter and eventually I had to take it off completely.

Absolutely not a one size fits all.
I did appear to be well made. It is very stretchy but I have a large head. While I could get it on, it was so tight that I could not tolerate wearing it. I gave it to a friend, who has a very small head, she could wear it only short time as it was tight even on her.

REALLY HELPS WITH HOT FLASHES!
I wear this cooling headband frequently. Above are a couple of silly photos with my husband modeling it! But seriously, this really works for me. I’m 63 & I still get hot flashes & so I go wet one of these & put it on & then I feel a whole lot better. Of course, I wear them outside, gardening, barbecuing & camping. Where I live we got hot summer (95 degrees). & just as high humidity. This cooling headband is a life saver. I occasionally wear it to bed when it’s too warm in my bedroom. Worth every penny! A great bargain from Amazon. It costs double this price & more in the sporting goods stores. I LOVE THESE! I hope this is helpful.

It might fit small child head but not standard adult female
But I have a standard size adult female head and felt like my brain was being squeezed out. I tried stretching it by hand and used I 3 different times, not only is it excruciatingly painful but doesn't cool at all. I soaked both this product and the Mission Enduro cool towel I purchased 3 mos earlier in ice water before doing the snapping. Towel is so-so for cooling effects but this headband is worthless.None of these products are useful in the tropics. I've been trying to use them in the middle of Hurricane Irma in very South Florida but really a waste of time. The towel is good as a neck sweat catcher. Since I'm in the middle of a disaster I don't have time to be shipping back the headband. I really shouldn't be wasting time writing this. Luckily I have internet now, to order some other Amazon things.A tip for folks who are looking for something that really cools you down, soak a bandana, small towel in ice water o a mixture of ice water and that old acne liquid, Seabreeze, great cooling properties.
