Its also ideal for fixing loose fixtures such as curtain rails within 3 minutes. WETNFIX stabilizes the wall/plasterboard so there is no need to re-drill a bigger hole or use bigger wall plugs. Step 1: Take a disc of WETNFIX and immerse it into a container of water then gently shake off any excess. Step 2: Place the plug end in the centre of the pad and mould round it. Step 3: Insert the plug into the hole with a turning action and gently tap with a hammer to fit flush to the surface. (Repeat with additional pads if the fit is loose). Wipe any residual liquid with a dampen cloth and wait...3 minutes. If the hole is large, add extra discs until secure. WETNFIX was voted one of the most outstanding and innovative products in the United Kingdom and United States, and was awarded the prestigious Queens Award for Innovation. Review: Does the job - I like that it is a simple solution to a common problem when fixing things on the wall. I will get more in the future because it is very useful. Review: This Product Really Works - I saw a video on Youtube that turned me on to this product. If you have ever had a drywall anchor come loose, you know it is a pain to get that hole filled to screw the anchor back in. Drywall putty doesn't work in my experience. But this product does! It says it's ready in 3 minutes, but I let it dry overnight. Worked like a charm! So happy I found this product!! ## Features - Specifically created to solve the commonest DIY problem - securing wall plugs/anchors in weak crumbly masonry or oversized holes or fittings which have come loose with repeated use. - It is ideal for fittings such as curtain rails, shelves, toilet roll holders, towel rails, hooks etc. - Fast, easy to use and sets in 3 minutes - Suitable for most materials, including masonry, wood, ceramics and plasterboard - If you have a wall in your home or office, you need WETNFIX in your tool box. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01B2ULW7G | | Best Sellers Rank | #38,000 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #67 in Hardware Plugs | | Brand | WETNFIX | | Brand Name | WETNFIX | | Color | White | | Colour | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 10,829 Reviews | | Item Dimensions W x H | 6W x 6H centimeters | | Item Weight | 20 Grams | | Item weight | 20 Grams | | Manufacturer | WETNFIX | | Manufacturer Part Number | 20 Pack | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Model Number | SKU20 | | Number of Items | 20 | | Product dimensions | 6W x 6H centimeters | ## Product Details - **Brand:** WETNFIX - **Colour:** White - **Item weight:** 20 Grams - **Material:** Nylon - **Product dimensions:** 6W x 6H centimeters ## Images ![WETNFIX (20 Discs) - Fixing Wall Plugs Fast! You can wet two or three discs, layer them together, wrap them around the molly as shown on the instructions, and insert them into the hole in the wall. They will fill the space around the anchor for a tight fit. **Q: Will this work on wooden cabinet?** A: Here’s an update to my previous answer. According to the info on the packaging, this product WILL work with wood. Personally, unless I was going to paint the wood afterwards, I don’t think the repair would look very nice. **Q: Will this work with the drywall anchors that look like screws?** A: Search youtube for a video that compared various ways to attach things to holes in drywall. This was found to be best. I did not compare it to anything, but I can confirm it does work well. No more wiggling towel racks. **Q: what is disc made of?** A: They look like little doilys with a powder on it. Just wet, wrap the anchor, insert in hole, wait the required time (a few minutes) and insert the screw. Very secure. Works great. Have a wet rag for clean up in case the wet powder from the "doily" drips on the wall. If it does run a bit, just wipe with the wet rag. Even if it has dried, once the wet rag touches it, it come right off. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job *by N***A on 16 December 2024* I like that it is a simple solution to a common problem when fixing things on the wall.
