Tape measure is represented as being made in USA. Item I received is made in Thailand. It is hard enough to purchase items made in America without fraud like this.

I stuck with Craftsman
American made. I bought this to replace my old Craftsman tape measure which served me for 25 years. I unknowingly dropped it in the snow, then just as unknowingly drove my truck over it.This tape measure looks and feels of equal quality and I expect it to outlast its predecessor. I’ve used it a couple months so far and am happy with it.

Product Description and picture clearly says "Made in USA". Well, don't know if Amazon has checked lately, but Thailand is not part of the USA. If you want to support US workers and companies, don't buy this.AMAZON, this is false advertising. You need to correct this.

Picture was wrong
The picture shows the product saying "Made in USA" and I got the product and it looked totally different and it was made in Taiwan.
