JAS45609 - GE 45609 Z-Wave On Off Switch

I've installed Jasco in nearly every panel in my house at this point. These on/off switches are nice for higher current locations (such as the garage fluorescent lighting), or closets/pantries where you don't need a dimmer. Interfaces easily with Wink Hub 1 and 2.These switches require a neutral wire to work properly, since it powers itself from the incoming power and requires a current return path.

Works as described, very easy to program! Only downside is that the neutral and ground needs to be connected to the actual switch as opposed to being bundled together in the actual box. In boxes where you have more than 1 switch additional work is required to pigtail to the switch.

This is my favorite Z-wave switch. It looks and works like a regular switch, so even if the Z-wave controller isn't working, this will (without the added Z-wave benefits of course). It has reliable Z-wave functionality and never lets me down.Can't wait for Amazon to include Z-wave in Echo!

this switch has solid construction and is quiet in operation, getting it to communicate with my mi casa verde lite took a few times and not sure what I did maybe by deleting and accepting. the led operation is default at on when switch is off (night light idea) but you can change it to always off or on when light is on. you have to go into settings to do though.

Works as a single pole light switch. You need to connect ground, neutral (white), hot (black), and switch leg (black or red wire going to the light) in order for this to work. Easy install, learned into Zwave network for Simon XTI security panel w/o issues. I purchased 4 and no problems at all.

Earlier I left a negative feedback. After I received the product as promised, I am a happy customer. I highly recommend them for other customer especially for Jasco WiFi switches.

Was surprised when one of my controls broke, so I was happy to find a reasonable replacement.
