I brought this so that it could keep my food hot for a prolonged amount of time, however when it came to actually putting these casserole to use, my food was not kept hot, barely kept my food warm. Wouldn’t recommend. Very upset that I spent a lot of money for these to turn out not satisfactory.

I used this product for church potlucks. They are not leakproof and liquid seeps up between the lid and the bowl. If the food is too hot (hello!) it creates a suction where you cannot get the lid off. We had to use a knife to try to pry the lid off! It was ridiculous! Water gets between the stainless steel liner and the outer shell even with hand washing. If you are buying them for stove to table yes they are pretty. If you want to REALLY use them to transport food, don't!

They are not waterproof, so things spill out . They do not keep things hot or cold for long. The handles are not need and take up space. To keep things cold I put an ice pack in a zip lock under food at bottom of bowl.

When I serve dinner guests, I want my food HOT from start to finish. I only bought these dishes to hold "second serving" amounts of food and keep it hot. When my guest opened the larger bowl about an hour after I filled them, I saw steam from the food. This was great. I do wish I had a couple more of the larger size. The smallest is probably better for travel/lunch etc. They are pretty enough to set on table .

Love these bowls. we use them a lot when camping, picnics, parties! keeps food hot. Love that I can keep food hot while cooking another batch or waiting for other dishes to cook. Everyone gets to eat at the same time and still gets hot food. I have not tried them for cold dishes yet but I am confident they will work awesome for cold foods on a hot day. a must have for anyone who entertains or camps! Going to buy the big bowl next
