Works as advertised, but be weary.

I plugged this Converter's optical cable into my Samsung Smart TV and I plugged in an AUX cable from my Monster Clarity Speakers directly into this Converter. In this configuration, it works just fine.I also plugged this Converter's optical cable into my Sony PS4 and I plugged in an AUX cable from my JBL Charger 4 directly into this converter.Where it doesn't work is when you use your Smart TV to watch Netflix, Hulu, HBO, or Roku. It doesn't matter even if you plug a $100 AUX cable into the Converter, you will almost always get a loud static from your speakers.

I received Digital Audio converter which is making chirping sound only..

It worked only for hrs.. Chirping sound that's all comes out of my Audio..I just received it today!!!!!
