Very good product including decent softwares inside and very competitive price. Easy to carry and fast access to data when connecting to laptop. I have similar 4TB disks from other brands but no one is as fast as this product .

I had a USB stick before, but needed something much better. This a wonderful device. Easy to store all my pictures and documents. Great quality and feels safe.

Met My Needs
Ample storage is always important for me. I create and edit a lot of videos, so storage of raw footage means I require more disk space than the average user.I use this for long term storage and it’s been great. I transfer files from memory cards to this, and then pull clips as needed. Transfer speeds meet my needs and overall a great product.Comes with everything you need to use it (cords).

No Hassle Setup For Backing Up Files Automatically
I've been using the Seagate backup hard drives for years along with the backup software that comes with them. That goes back to Windows 7. And, I'd rather not store my "stuff" in the cloud. When I get a new computer, I get a new Seagate backup. It's a no hassle setup with the software and the hard drive. Once I've got the backup settings the way I want them, which takes only a couple of minutes, it does the backup automatically everyday without any further messing around with it. Best of all, it saved all of my files from my old computer when it "died" a month or so ago. In fact I still have an old Seagate backup hard drive from a Windows 7 computer that still works... although I've long ago retired it.
