KS2 Maths 10-Minute Weekly Workouts - Year 3

Por ponerle una pega, no va acompasado de lo que estudian en el sistema español en ese mismo año y por lo tanto estos niños tienen gaps para algunos problemas. Pero probablemente el problema es de nuestro sistema educativo y no del libro.Pero el general está muy bien.

My son has just finished Year 3 (but not at age expectations) so we are working through this book in the summer to help prepare him to start Y4. It goes from the beginning of the school year and there is a double-page spread for each 10 minute quiz. It doesn't take him 10 minutes so he can easily do 2 quizzes in that time - which is working well and helping him revise what he already knows. Occasionally he needs a bit of help and it is a good way to find out where the gaps are so we can work on those concepts together.I like that each quiz contains several different types of questions - quick arithmetic, some calculations and then a word problem or two. They are on different aspects of maths too so it helps me to find out what he actually knows. Other books, where the whole page is on one topic, are good for practising a concept but this book helps us work out what he needs to work on!

Keeps my daughter busy. She's learning a lot
