How does Berkeley compare to AlexaPure?

Ive never had an Alexapure, but I’ve had a Berkeley over 20 years and I wouldn’t change. Replacement filters are expensive, nearly $100 each, but they last for years. We have 5 adult children and three of them use the Berkeley.

They are made of carbon and other proprietary items.

Does the Berkey filter sulfur from the water???

Yes. We are very satisfied with all that these filters do. We have very hard city water, some coming from the Colorado river and who knows where else. We first run our water through a Brita pitcher filter, then through the Berkey filters and when we tested it the results were very very good.
