My daughter bought them for her 9 year old sister. The first pair she pulled out said "I hate my job" on the bottom which we weren't expecting. I didn't see it on the picture when she ordered but see it now. I have bought adult-themed socks from BlueQ (similar to these but these are not BlueQ) in the past so I was afraid to see what the 2nd pair said but they were just cute and colorful, no phrases. So the phrase isn't exactly fitting for a nine year old with a size 4Youth foot but she loved the colors and they are a bit loose which is to be expected since they are adult sizing. Seem to be good quality too.

I bought these for my 10 year old as a gift to be placed in her Easter basket. She loved them! Very cute, fit nicely, washed well. Would recommend.
