Good recipes
This was for my husband that wanted to learn how to make pasta. With the machine and this book, he has made some great dinners!

Pay Attention to the size of this book.
The book is very small. I could have paid closer attention to the sizing for sure, and I recommend you do too if you're considering buying it, as it's about the quarter size of a regular cookbook, not in length, but surface area. The pictures of the book were very attractive, and the sale price was great ($15 when i bought it). I got it as an add on to a pasta roller as a Christmas gift, so it worked just fine for that, but if you are buying yourself a book to learn about making pasta, or planning to give this as a gift, don't bother with this one. It's far too small and you'll likely be disappointed.

Mostly recipes, only 2 pages on how to make fresh pasta.
This little book with the promising title is a disappointment for everyone looking for a book that gives a full introduction into the world of selfmade pasta. More than half of the 64 pages ( 6 x 0.4 x 7.8 inches ) are pictures. Only 2 (!) pages are about how to make the dough for the fresh pasta. The rest is recipes (25 in total). But it looks neat and it was inexpensive.

Golden Book???
So disappointed. This is the Golden Book of my childhood in a cookbook. I was expecting something of the caliber of my Williams-Sonoma Essential Cooking cookbook and I got a handful of nuvo recipes in a small thin hardbound book. Do not recommend. If you want Italian buy Hazan's Essentials of Classic Italian cooking.
