Milani Stay Put Matte Liquid Eyeliner - 110 Black

I used to use liquid eyeliner forever ago, then changed my look for some time and switched to pen liquid eyeliners simply for the ease of use and the super occasional eyeliner ... fast forward to today, I've been wanting to go back to the cat eye look with sharper lines and edges as I got tired from crayons drying out, dull lines, not opaque enough, etc... boy did I forget the power of the liquid eyeliner and its general existence. I got this one due to the good reviews, for the super black opaque and matte look that falls within my budget. It isn't waterproof and it smudges/wipes away if you physically wipe it with your finger (I don't really touch my face or eyes, so not an issue) but it stays put all day until I take it off, so in reality it doesn't smudge on its own at all. Personally, I understand the need for waterproof makeup but I have sensitive skin and the products needed to remove such makeup are too harsh so I prefer stuff that I can take off easily with regular old water and some cleanser. Also because of sensitive skin, this product does sting a tiny bit when applied at first closer to the edge of my eye, but it's only for a few seconds and I don't seem to have adverse effects overall. I had to practice a few times and still don't get the lines quite perfectly but for the price and what I get, it's such a step up from the products I have been using so far.

The only liquid eyeliner that i liked!!!! Its a Matte liner. Stayed for so long and never smudged.

Love that it's dark enough to accentuate my eyeshape, yet it not being black doesn't make it look heavy. The tip makes for ease of application. I know a lot of people who prefer brush because it's easy and maneuverable, but I prefer the stiffer felt-tips because I apply as close as I can to the lash line and with the lashes, brush tips would show every bump and groove and does not provide a straight smooth line. Super easy to do a nice thin flick at the end. Long wearing on my oily eyelids to pass 6-7 hours, all day lasting with some primer or eyeshadow.

Great product - goes on super smooth and stays put all day. Love the color, which they don’t carry in stores anymore.
