very good summary of how blockchain works

Bought this as I assumed it would be an in-depth technical look at blockchain. However, the first 20 pages glossed over it using many terms not explained, with none of the sidebar information I expect from a Dummies guide. I don't expect anyone writing the book to be a blockchain cynic but it comes across just too evangelical.After that, there's pages on how to sell blockchain to your company (but why would i do that if I still don't understand it?). At this point there have been more pages on drawing up lists of requirements on "large pieces of paper" or in Excel then there have been on explaining Blockchain.The next chapter is then seeming an example -with instructions on how to buy Bitcoin! At this point I just sighed. I'm 27 pages into a 200+ page book, the author still hasn't explained blockchain very well, and now wants you to start "investing" in cryptocurrencies in a falling market. There is absolutely no need for anyone to buy cryptocurrencies to understand blockchain technology. I may attempt to plough through the rest of the book but I feel I need to look elsewhere.
