KS2 Maths SAT Buster: Geometry, Measures & Statistics - Book 1 (for the 2022 tests)

Recommend for children.

I really like the CGP Workbooks and this is one of a series called "SAT Busters" which cover all the various parts of the curriculum your child will need for their Year 6, KS2, SAT exams in both English and Maths. This particular book gives lots of practice in maths questions about shapes, measures and data. It is a simple book, in black and white, and makes up in substance what it lacks in style. It is packed full of questions, with one section each for shape, measures and data. So, for example, the section on measures includes pages on units, reading scales, time, perimeter and area. There is also a useful self assessment box for your child to tick, which makes them think about how much they know.The only reason I have dropped a star from my review, is that the answers are not included. Admittedly, you probably will not need them for this age group and they are included in a separate answer book which covers three workbooks, "KS2 Maths SAT Buster Answer Book (Number, Shape, Measures and Data, Mental Maths)", but it is much easier/quicker to have the answers included and, although the answer book is not expensive, it is still annoying to have to purchase it separately.

This will be the same review for all the SATS workbooks. They absolutely helped my child prepare for his past SATS. One page at a time with enough time to revise and practice. At the end, he was confident enough to sit the tests and get a great score. I can’t recommend enough these excellent books.

A great resource for students and parents who want to keep abreast of how our children are being taught.You needs to appreciate what is expected of your child and then reassure them that with extra help to affirm their understanding they will be confident when they do their SAT as well as every day lessons.
