These are a perfect replacement for the old grease filter in my hood fan. People who complain about this product in other reviews don't seem to know what these are. These are the filters that go OVER the carbon filter in your hood fan. You don't use these alone. You have to buy a carbon filter as well.

If you're looking for a filter that is comparable with the Broan BP29 range hood grease filter, the Jovitec range filters are a fantastic option to consider. I recently needed to replace my grease filter and bought a single Broan BP29 for the same price as I would've paid for FOUR of the Jovitec filters. They are practically identical and they function exactly the same! Because these are so cheap, I can change my grease filter more frequently, and will likely not bother trying to clean my older filters (which honestly doesn't end well anyways). Overall great value for the filters, and something I will be stocking up on so I don't have to hustle to the hardware store and get overcharged for the same dang filter with a brand name sticker!

Low quality screen filter. Appears to be the same size but when you look up close at the mesh you will notice that each individual loom is flattened and instead of being parallel to the airflow it is perpendicular. Filter is very restrictive and does not do it's job. Unfortunately for me I did overed it outside of my 30 day return policy.

I have lived in this house for 20 years and it's the first time I've changed the filter. Sad. Now I can change it more often because the deal came with four! lol!
