You can use BodyGlide on any part of your body. I'm a bit confused by your question though. It won't stop you from sweating. But if your sweating is causing chaffing in those rrgions, it will most certainly help.

Yes. On a 600-mile hike (15-18 miles/day) I used it on the hot spots of my feet where blisters used to form. I never had one while using it.

If applied well in advance before going, probably? It’s most likely the moisture of swim ware rubbing when leaving the water.
