Cooks the bacon evenly and cleans up easily - (I've only washed by hand). The grill and lid are made out of solid material and seem to be of good quality. I have a larger turntable so it's no problem to turn with this large grill, but if your microwave is too small to turn with this grill you can turn the turntable off in any microwave by lifting out the centre piece under the turntable glass and once done just place it back (an appliance sales person taught me that trick).
