Chilly DogCable Dog Sweater, X-Small, Grey

I purchased this for our Scotty dog and not only does it look wonderful it fits perfectly and it’s warm. I purchased a medium and it was perfect. Scotty’s are bulky but they’re long dogs this covered him from neck to tail.

So my rescue pit has decided she loves her new sweaters and won't let us remove them. That means even when she "goes" outside, we have to flip the back end up to keep it clean. And yes, I ordered more colors of the same model. Freakin' drama queen 🐕These are the best sweaters for large dogs. They are a little more expensive compared to the cheap Walmart ones but I have tried so many for her and they are either too big, not warm enough or the arms don't fit.The arms on these sweaters are more slots, so it doesn't matter the dogs arm size and they are so soft and thick like those Irish ones you see on TV.She loves them so much that we ordered 4 others.She's a 75lb pitbull and wears the XL

I love all Chilly Dog sweaters! I have two small yorkies and live in Minnesota and these are the thickest sweaters I’ve found for them…and they have a pretty extensive wardrobe😂😅 Truly such great quality for the money, I wish they made them for humans!!

This is my dog's second Chilly Dog sweater, because her original one needed a wash, it's winter already, the floors are cold, and she's old and shivers without it. This one is equally gorgeous, made again of natural wool. It's less stretchy than her 5-year-old sweater, but I'm sure it was less stretchy when new, too. These are wonderful, quality sweaters, lofty, soft and warm, real wool that's not been overly processed, way way warmer than knit acrylic, or fleece. After 5 years my dog's first one is even softer but has never even needed to be mended.But unlike her original Boyfriend Sweater, bought in 2015, which smelled only of sheep, this one has a stubborn but slight chemical odor, which I presume is a moth-deterrant. I hoped it would disappear by washing in Eucalan but it didn't. Probably baby shampoo would take it out completely, but the weather's too stormy now to wash it again--no sun to lay it in to dry. I doubt most buyers would be as bothered by it. (I have to turn the world upside down now to find the really old old-fashioned formula mothballs, which I'm out of, so I probably have moths now.)If she and I live long enough for her to need more than two warm sweaters, and if baby shampoo or something stronger or more days in the sun succeed in removing the odor from this one, I will surely buy from Chilly Dog again.I have my fingers crossed that the indigenous Quechan knitters who make them are fairly paid for their highly skilled and attentive workmanship.

Very few sweaters stay on our dog, but this one does and she eagerly lets me put it on her. It is a quality thick sweater. I am glad this purchase helps local farmers too!

I don’t really know how warm this is for my little guy, but is sure does look swee to on him. He does not mind wearing it, in fact he struts a little.

I have a smaller pit bull, 40# or so. I ordered according to her measurements and it fit initially, until it stretched after a day or so and then it was apparent she needed a smaller size, in both arms and neck opening, so I ordered a large instead of XL. (The first 3 pics are of the larger sweater. The last 2 are of the smaller one, fresh from posat office which fits more snug, and does not go down the back past the tail, which the larger one did)Only "complaint" at all, is that the chest area could be more narrow, so as not to have the sweater material over the shoulders and impeding front leg movement.If this smaller one also seems to impede front legs a bit, I will snip open the leg top to allow the front legs free movement, fold into the chest and then sew it down. Otherwise this is a really great sweater, well designed and knitted. Really nice. Great neutral color. Very smart looking. My pitty loves wearing it(just bows her head for it, and feet slide rite in) and her back always feels warm as toast.Will update this review after a trial with the smaller size and it's front leg opening issue.
