I paid for 6 boxes of cake mix and only got one! what is the problem. where are the rest?

You are the second person who states they ordered six and only got one. Are you sure the one (1) is not six (6) times larger than the one (1) you ordered. You are the second person that has raised this issue, and now, I remember that I have purchased items and that is what happened. Instead of getting multiple boxes of the same, I got one box much larger than each single that I thought was coming. This is more economical in terms of space, and, probably, even cost! Frankly, I like the larger box rather than the six that I ordered. Check the weight of one of the six boxes that you ordered, and the weight, or size, of the box that you received. I suspect the one you received is at least six times larger than one of the six that you ordered.

can I add raisons and nuts

Yes. I use it as a base to my Christmas figgy pudding and add all sorts of fruits and nuts. You may need to adjust your baking time.

Why did i only recieve 1 box instead of 6 like it says, so i paid 10 dollars for 1 box of cake mix

I ordered 2 boxes and they were $14. You can also get 2 with 2 frosting for $17 or $18. I haven't seen one with 6 boxes advertised but I'm guessing it was a misprint in the descriptions. They are expensive because in many parts of the country they are not available in stores. Supply and demand i guess. Mine was for my birthday cake last year and worth every penny.
