Does this make any noise? What is the noise level for this? I plan to buy it for my computer but it is a quiet room and it need to stay quiet.

In normal operation, under a modest load, it is pretty quiet. Powering on or off, it does produce additional temporary hum and a single internal *click* noise. Heavier step-down loads, do increase the hum by maybe a decibel. But...it is a pretty decent unit, fairly quiet and delivers "clean" power. I use it to power a USA spec audio receiver and it does not generate interference or distortion. I'd say appearance is it's weakest suite, but performance IS there, and it's quiet enough under a load, and it's essentially silent in standby.
