A very beautifully written book, powerful themes and deeply moving. I have read this to several classes now and every single time, the children have insisted on hearing more, hanging on my every word. Suitable for Y5 upwards, it's always a winner.

Love this book. Beautifully written. My son (not a keen reader!) really enjoyed this...and I absolutely loved the story myself. Definitely recommend.A bit slow to start maybe, but stick with it. Wonderfully descriptive.
