I bought this mould due to decent ratings. It is indeed a pretty mould. I tried it twice and the first attempt was a failure (tiramisu cake - dusted the mould with cocoa powder. Could not get the cake out at all and it crumbled into several pieces in the end). Then I went to youtube to look for silkomart mould videos, and saw people got the desserts out fairly easily. So in the end I assumed all the desserts shown must be frozen to unmould (which I don't usually do). The second attempt was a mousse cake. Froze the cake overnight, and tried to unmould it 6 hours before serving (according to another youtube video). This time the cake came out perfectly.So if you want to buy this mould for making desserts involving mousse, creme patisserie, etc., you may have to freeze them for perfect umouldings later on.

Don’t even question it, just buy it! Silkomart molds dont compare in the SLIGHTEST to any knock off brand out there, this mold has a very sturdy thick wall, you can take your confection easily and clean out of the mold like you wouldn’t believe. Package arrived before the time set which I’m grateful as I was having problems with my old Chinese mold... I suggest investing in good molds that you know will last longer!

Super easy to use

Amazing! I tried a mousse cake and it worked perfectly. Make sure your mousse cake is frozen solid before you remove it from the mold because it will lose its shape otherwise. Very easy to clean and even though it looks small it's not.
