Big-Print Patchwork: Quilt Patterns for Large-Scale Prints Paperback – January 8, 2013

This new book is colorful and birght, print is large enough to read .. the ideas are fresh and do-able. I especially like the large color photos so I can see how my fabric pictures and patterns are going to play out. The instructions are well written, easy to follow.

How refreshing to find a book that is unlike any in my quilting books library! I have a few large scale/scenic prints in my stash and have been looking for ideas that would destroy the 'ho-hum, it's made from a panel' response. This completely fills the bill! I appreciate the 'design your own' tools and tips as well. Great addition to any quilting library!

Great ideas and usable instructions . Who hasn't purchased a panel "this is just the thing" and its sat there for a year or three . Read this book . You have nothing to lose but stash . fabric does not come to life until you cut it . Now you can bring me of it to life

One night I was searching the Internet for the pattern for an animal quilt I had seen once. In the process I came on a pattern that is in this book. I liked it and when I discovered the source was this book, I did something totally out of character and ordered it immediately. When it came and I began turning pages I was excited to see that I already own fabric that was used to make many of the quilts! Although some quilters buy their fabric after they have a pattern, I am a quilter who will buy special cuts of fabric and then hold them until the right pattern comes along. I have shelves filled with books and none of them have captivated me the way this one has. Sandy Turner is amazing and it's hard to believe this is her first book! It holds the patterns for the next four or five quilts I'll be making (all in a row) with the cover quilt being the one I'll start with.

Have a similar book from 7-8 yrs ago so nothing new but did give me some ideas. One can always use another quilt book.

This one is a keeper. You will want to keep it in your library. The instructions and photography is great. The quilts have a more modern appearance -- beautiful layouts. A great way to use large scale print fabrics.

I chose this book because I like that it has so many patterns that you can use large print fabrics in. Patterns are beautiful and can be used with any large print fabrics.
