I enjoyed this book but it is not in the same class as either White Boots or Ballet Shoes.The family are less believable and there doesn't seem to be the same 'push' behind the writing. Of all Noel Streatfield's books, this is probably my least favourite.

Personally I never loved this one as much as Ballet Shoes, but my daughter did, and now her own daughter will. Tennis is always with us. Highly recommended. GM

This is a great book for tennis girls! I can't find many that describe games well. It is old fashioned though
