Works for certain types
Got this for my convicts and with modifications it works for them. This is for mouth brooders and not tiny egg laying cichlids though the title says it is for cichlids. I got this when I was new to eggs and fry but now I have learned. Even had my sister get them for her cory cat eggs. Suction could be better but it is usable.

Great value! I have 3 of these work great but…
The fit varies on each of mine. One is pretty loose yet workable. But for the price I’m gonna keep buying these I like them they’re easy they’re super cheap and they don’t look half bad. I do recommend the 50 mm versions for the extra space. Also NEVER KEEP YOUR FISH IN THIS WITHOUT THE BUBBLER GOING I LOST TWO DOZEN NEGARA FLAMETAILS quickly.YouTube has easy stripping fish videos I like to use a large paper clip as they are super rounded

Hatched Corey catfish eggs
Added a few Corey catfish eggs about 4 days ago and today they hatched. Easy to install. It took a while to get the tumbling just right and I my own air flow controller.

Eggs to wigglers to fry
If you want to see your fish survive, and go from egg stage to wigglers, to fry get one of these. Really amazing to see how the grow! I use one of these because my fish are not good parents and eat their babies! This is what you need to get your fry started before you put them in a grow out tank!
