The lids fit well, but are a little flimsy. I ended up tying ribbon around to keep the lids secure, as a couple of them popped off. I would like to find a lower domed lid, but I'm very pleased with these, overall, and would definitely purchase again.

A: It can be used for freezing,The temperature range that the lid can withstand is -22 to 195°F. When the temperature is lower than -22°F, the elasticity of the lid will decrease, but it is still safe.

A: The dimension of top is 8" by 4", and the bottom is 6-2/8 " by 2-6/8"

**Q: Are these a true 8x4?**
A: The outside dimensions are 8x4.  Inside smaller 7.3" L X 3.75" W and 1.75"deep.

These pans are perfect for banana bread. I've had flimsy pans where the sides push out as the bread bakes, but these kept their shape. The lids fit well, but are a little flimsy. I ended up tying ribbon around to keep the lids secure, as a couple of them popped off. I would like to find a lower domed lid, but I'm very pleased with these, overall, and would definitely purchase again.
