We did quite a bit of searching on various sites for a recliner/glider. Consider expensive options, but we don't want to spend so much on a chair that we won't likely keep beyond 2 years. Elected to get this one based on reviews and both recline/glider/rocking options. Overall very pleased with our choice. Some things to consider:* the box it arrives in is very large - we ended up unpacking it in our carport and bring it inside as two pieces* the bottom piece is very heavy - my friend and I were able to get it in, but technically I'm still on lift restrictions after my C-sxn and shouldn't have - keep that in mind when delivered* it is very easy to assemble - you literally just slide the top piece into place and push until it clicks (not a loud click) - there is a great video to demonstrate in the reviews* overall comfort was good; it's firm, but with a pillow at the back is comfortable* seat is much deeper/wider than I expected (in a good way!)* recline function is easy to use, just pull the level tucked by the seat cushion on the right side and push back; the foot rest comes up at the same time - NOTE: the footrest will stay up, but if you lean forward and put weight on it, it will start to go back down (and the back will come up). Just something to get used to.* putting the footrest back down to lock back into a chair position is easy, but does require a little oomph at the very end* I'm 5'8" and my bestie is 6'1", we both sat comfortably in the chair - the back is high enough for her to put her head back comfortably* the glider/rocker part is really nice, I can see myself using that more often than the recliner* overall quality seems solid - the armrests don't have a ton of stuffing so those will probably wear out faster than anything else - but the fabric is solid and the cushion stuffing is great* no off gassing or weird smells!

It fits perfect in my son’s nursery. It was also super easy to assemble. All you have to do is snap the back piece into the bottom and you’re done. It’s quite comfortable too. Perfect combination of soft and slightly hard. So happy with this purchase!

Let me first start by saying that we really love this rocker recliner and would most likely purchase it again. We purchased this for our small neutral nursery. Since the birth of our son nearly two months ago, it has gotten hours and hours of use nursing or rocking him to sleep each day. Here are some main points we have noticed, both good and bad.1. It arrived in one box with only two pieces to put together. The box was incredibly heavy and took two grown men and a dolly to get it up a flight of stairs. Even moving the finished chair is a challenge. Just be warned if you are pregnant when it is delivered. Putting the chair together was super simple however- just click the back on and latch some Velcro.2. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. We enjoy the almost heathered texture and true grey color (not blue/purple toned). We have had several blowouts that made it to the chair. While the mess was cleaned promptly, there are absolutely no stains or signs that the accidents happened. The material was very easy to spot clean. One downside we have noticed however is that the fabric where our heels rest seems to be pilling like a sweatshirt would. I can only assume this is from the repetitive rocking motion and our heels rubbing the fabric. It is just barely noticeable when standing several feet from the chair, but dissappointing nonetheless. The sharp straight edges in the arm rests are holding up very well. They do not appear to be wearing down or looking misshapen.3. The gliding motion is seamless and comfortable. The chair is able to rock and swivel simultaneously, which we have found to be a nice motion when trying to get the LO to sleep. After two months of use, we have noticed that there is a creaking noise when rocking very far forward or backwards. This could probably be remedied with some WD40 but we have not tried yet. It is not loud enough to wake the baby, just loud enough to get on the adults’ nerves.4. The chair reclines to a nearly flat position, which is great when you want to rest in the same room as baby when they have been laid down to nap. The foot rest is pretty easy to put down in this position, even for a post c-section mother. The only complaint we have is that the chair does require a significant amount of pressure to be applied constantly to keep it in the fully reclined position. We sometimes feel like we are fighting the chair.5. Husband is 5’11” and finds the chair extremely comfortable. I am 5’1” and when sitting straight with my back against the chair, my feet do not touch the ground. I agree that the chair is very comfortable, but I have had to put extra pillows behind me when nursing and rocking because the chair is exceptionally deep. Both of us agree that the lumbar support pillow that is provided makes the chair looks aesthetically pleasing, but does not really aid in support.6. The chairs design has modernized our nursery when compared to traditional wooden chairs with padding and foot rests. It is also large enough to be very comfortable, but has a smaller footprint than a more traditional nursery rocker has.7. We felt that is was very pricey, but now that we have it in our home, it seems to be a decent quality and will last much longer than some other rockers we considered. It also has the added bonus of being versatile enough to placed in a teen’s room, living room, gaming room, etc once it is no longer needed for a nursery.Should something change, we will update our review.

Got this chair as we are watching our 5 month old granddaughter a few days a week and my wife wanted a comfortable chair to sit in. Rocks great! Swivels Great!Happy with the color and fabric.A little stiff to get it to recline, but manageable.All in all, a good purchase!

Comfy little chair. Like the swivel and rocking/recliner functions. Fabric is easy to keep clean and we have 2 cats and a dog that love the chair. Can't say how long it will last but so far no issues after a couple months of use and to be honest it's doing a lot better than the couch be bought from Costco at the same time.

Size is big and deep and can fit me with baby in nursing pillow. The glider, swivel and recline position works great. Seems to camouflage stains. We’ve had it now for about 7 months the only thing I don’t like is it started to make squeaking sounds when you’re rocking.

Best chair of all time. New patent here and you can live in this chair with your baby. Totally recommended

Best piece of furniture in our home. Very comfortable for myself (who is petite) and for my husband (who is quite large). The glide is smooth and quiet. It doesn’t glide when it’s reclined which is kind of a bummer
