The 60v are "flexvolt" batteries. If you use the 60v in this recip saw the battery will automatically switch to a 20v at 9 amp hours. Using that battery in a 60v tool will give you 2 amp hours (It will last for a 1/3 of the time in a 60v tool compared to its run time in a 20v tool). I have to add that this compact reciprocating saw has quickly become one of my most used tools. Not only do I use it for all things carpentry related but I also use it all around the house trimming bushs and limbs. I use it with a carbide tipped blade and it is as functional if not more so than a small chainsaw. I trimmed up a pallet with a huge metal lathe still on it and I was able to get up close to the machine without issue. The depth of cut is nice with standard wood blades. Plenty of power to cut through several pieces of wood with a 2Ah battery. The quick change blade with multiple tool positions came in handy too.
