for an inexpensive alternative to half doors
I've had these enclosures for only a couple of days now, so let me give you my first impression. They're what I wanted: a cheap, imperfect alternative to real half doors. Some things about them:1. It took about half an hour and a little frustration to attach these to the outside of the tube frame. Before I tightened down the bolts and screws on the door, I hung them on the Jeep to make sure that everything lines up more or less correctly.2. The paint scratches easily.3. Once you attach these enclosures to the door, don't plan to take them off of the tube frames often. The Bestop videos make it seem like you can reconfigure the doors whenever you want, but that's not the case.I bought these because I wanted a cheap alternative to half doors while I'm on the road, and that's exactly what they are. They'll keep rocks and road debris from flying into the Jeep. They'll keep things on the floor from sliding out. They give the illusion of safety, but I wouldn't trust them much. I wouldn't rely on them to stay shut if someone leans on them, and they're not going to do anything if you're in an accident. On the other hand, people won't freak out when they see young kids riding in the backseat with the doors off.

A small re-design would make them 5 star!
The way that these mount means that you have to remove the mirrors (if you have them) and the door latch mechanism to swap these out. The mirrors are not a big deal, but the door mechanism is a pain. I plan on cutting mine around the door mechanism and slightly below the mirror and adding a retaining bolt at both locations. This will make them "quick swap" between tube doors and half doors by removing two bolts. This MIGHT cause them to leak a little, but I doubt it and nothing a little rubber liner couldn't fix.

Not the best sealing half door option for the jeep
Not the best sealing half door option for the jeep. But I love mine. Totally worth what I paid on amazon warehouse deals.

Absolute junk! Install - F, Quality - F. DO NOT BUY!
THESE ARE AWFUL - DO NOT PURCHASE!!!The installation is awful (NOT "easy" as they indicate - I do a LOT of work on my cars). The enclosure has two hooks that go over the bottom bar on the frame. Nothing holds them together to put four screws in - with a door handle that fits in the hole with about 1mm to spare. As a result it will slide all over when trying to install, scratching the heck out of the paint (which comes right off, extremely cheap, not at all durable). I gave up with the doors after 2 hours. Between 4 doors, upper windows, element doors, enclosures, etc. these are very expensive and absolute junk.Absolute junk! Install - F, Quality - F. DO NOT BUY!
