Funktion nur mit geeigneten Gläsern möglich -notwendige Gewindehöhe - Nutellaglas funktioniert z.B.
Hallo Nutzer prüft den Metallhaltering. Es gibt wenig Gläser mit der notwendigen Gewindehöhe. Die Gärdichtung baut 2-3mm auf.Standard Deckel gehen nicht!!Nur bestellen mit der gleichen Anzahl Schraubringe.

Work better than coffee filter
Came packaged well and easy to put together. The caps are a little hard to get off, but other than that I think had less growth of anything else on top of the brine than when using a coffee filter. The lid seals are great and just don't fill jar so high that you can't get the stem of the airlock to seal into the o-ring in the center.You can use the lid center o-ring cap to seal it and put in fridge if want. But I just use my regular mason jar lids. Liked them enough to buy a 2nd set.

It's the lids not jars
Works well it's just the lids.Allows gas exchange without letting (supposedly) any contaminants in. I went with Kmart 1L jars like another review suggested and it fit well. Seems to vent properly with sachromyces boulardi which produces a lot of CO2.
