I added some mop & glo and it didn’t harm it (yet) but the reservoir is small so you’ll need to dilute with it because I think it needs to be thin enough to get into the pads. And— clean the mop heads well after each use. That’s my experience anyway. You could call the 800 number to find out from an expert. I have found that using hot water along with spraying the mop n Glo directly on the floor gives it the greatest shine. I imagine the same with Bona. It defeats the “leave it alone to run” idea but the floors come out nicely. **Q: Will these pads fit samsung jetbot mop? look like the same machine as the everybody.** A: They are the same. The Samsung machine is an EVERYBOT with a Samsung label. I have heard that Samsung is buying EVERYBOT out. Either way, the pads are the same. **Q: Can this unit detect rugs and carpet?** A: EDGE cannot distinguish carpet or lugs by sensor. It just physically cannot go over any kind of mat, rugs or carpet if it is thicker than 8mm. **Q: Will it remove dried dirt or food spots or must it be used immediately after a spill happens? Thank you!** A: Ye, it will remove dried dirt and/or food spots.
