How do you clean it when it gets soiled with food? What about mold, which is especially likely when storing cheese? Retain food odors/flavors?

Mine did get moldy when I left some banana bread wrapped in it for too long. I cleaned it with lukewarm water and dish soap. To me, it's a problem that you can't see through the beeswax wraps. Out of sight, out of mind, esp when life gets hectic.

About how long can these be reused for? How many times before they see the end of life?

Bee's Wrap lasts for up to a year with proper care and regular usage. For longer duration wash your Bee’s Wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap.
