I really love these silicone ties! They are a great length, and I like how they are textured. They are very easy to use and they stay attached once the end is pushed through the hole in the ball at the other end. I also love the pretty colors. I especially like that they are not too thick. They are truly all-purpose and I have found a use for them that is a bit out of the ordinary. I use them to keep the thin straps of my camisoles in place!! They really work perfectly for that usage! The soft silicone is very comfortable against my back. It stays perfectly in place and I forget that it is there. I had been searching for a very long time for something to do exactly that. These ties are truly all-purpose!

there is a fair amount of stretch, and these have not failed or snapped when tested. They work in a very wide variety of stationary and moving items including hanging stuff from my backpack while on citibike (but i wouldnt risk any expensive or heavy stuff to the limit with these). I wish they cost less, but there seems to be no competitive counterpart so they are not really unreasonable.

I saw these on a FB page and ordered because I wanted to be able to easily identify my chickens and ducks from each other! Catching them was the hardest part. The 'tightener' - the little balls of which the band gets pulled over were the perfect thickness to pull over and then stay put. I pulled to desired tightness, then cut the extra off and they've been on for about 4 weeks. After the first couple hours, neither the chickens or the ducks were bothered by them. I call them by their colored band. Now I'm able to tell whose doing what!Very effective for my purpose.

The concept is great for these ties. They may work ok for larger items, but I bought them for bread. Once they are tight, it is all but impossible to get enough leverage to open them to release the bread rapper. I tried several things and had to insert an ice pick to get some space. I think maybe the knobs are too big. I’ll keep them, but not sure if I’ll find another use. Since they didn’t work, I searched for the old style I had used and was delighted that I could find and ordered them. They are similar, but no knobs. They hold tight and are wonderful.
