Love the taste, only find in stores at Costco at Christmas. Ordered these and came in Davids Cookies packaging bubble wrapped. The box was not showing external damage or poor shipping so cannot understand why about an inch deep of nothing but cookie crumbs then intact cookies on top of that. This makes me suspect that it was packed like that from Davids bakery factory whereas the ones bought at Costco had hardly any crumbs worth mentioning. Big difference . The intact cookies tasted just as good and fresh as the Costco ones, just less edible intact cookies. My husband took a spoon and sprinkled the tiny crumbs over his ice cream so not to waste. Will buy again from Costco but not thru the mail like this again.

i ordered these for xmas and they were gone too quickly because they are absolutely delicious. they came well packaged, cookies looked all well but a few were broken, but that was ok. they travel a long way so it's understandable. unfortunately, the next tin can i ordered came with just broken cookies but they are so yummy, we ate them all. so i reordered again and hoped i would get a canister with whole cookies because i am having a coffee group over and i needed the cookies to look presentable. i was lucky and received a canister with wonderful fresh whole cookies. these are really worth reordering over and over again. price is very nice and they are just irresistible!

I bought these as a Christmas gift to myself as soon as I saw them. Every year I try to find the Archway brand which are small and expensive but they are always sold out. I saw it was 2 lbs so I felt it was worth it and I was able to use my EBT. I'm disabled and twenty lbs under weight so I was hoping these would also pack some much needed fat on me. The tin is HUGE! I was concerned about how many would be broken but these are packed and boxed well so minimal breakage. I like that they divided them into 4 sections. I feel this also minimized breakage. I am picky about my pecan wedding cookies is what I call them. These are 99% perfecto! Rich buttery, light texture, small, delicate pecans simply melt in your mouth! I prefer more powdered sugar stuck to mine but it's hard to keep it thickly coated. I would definitely gift these if I didn't love them too much myself!!! 😋 I deserve to pig out on these scrumptious delights and feel better!!! Thank you David's! These are my 2nd favorite cookies after my Mom's Nestle Oatmeal Scotchies she makes for me every Christmas! 🤤

These cookies are awesome! They come with a buttery, powder sugar coating that is light and starts to melt in your mouth as soon as the cookie hits your tongue! There are plenty of pecan pieces inside of the cookie that you also get the flavor of eating a buttery pecan cookie. Be aware, these cookies are addicting and you will definitely want to purchase the 2 pack product for that reason. I highly recommend these cookies.

These cookies sneak up on you in the BEST way. Just like ALL of David's Food Products I have tried, these are no exception! VERY delish, fresh and made with REAL ingredients! I know I sound like a commercial, but for real, these cookies are amazing! The really do "melt in your mouth". These have always been one of my favorites and now I know this is where I will be getting them from, from NOW ON! thank you David's! I give Davids gift boxes of goodies to all my far away fam for Christmas and new years!

I have no complaints at all about David's Pecan Melt-a-Way Cookies. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because they didn't taste as good as my mom's LOL. Nobody's is ever as good as your mom's though. So that being said we were happily surprised that these were good....just not my mom's.I'd definitely recommend them for yourself or as a gift.

These absolutely melt in your mouth. I've been looking for an alternative to Kebbler Wedding cookies. This is it! I gifted a tin to my mother and she raved about them so much I bought myself a tin. I couldn't keep my husband out of them. I will be ordering more David's cookies.

The flavor was ok considering that the expiration date was only a couple of months away. I received one as a gift at Christmas, and the expiration date was August. It is February 1, and the expiration date is April. The cookies were crumbly because of the shipper.

I purchased this product for the first time as I can no longer make my own Christmas shortbread, etc. due to poor health and disabilities. I and my family always loved the shortbread homemade the best. I am sorry to say that the David’s shortbread is not what I expected because it tastes rather “stale”. I could not find a best used by date so I am not able to pinpoint why this rather unshortbread taste. I ate one and had no medical problem so they are probably okay to offer my family. Perhaps my taste is over sensitive but I will not be eating a second one. I do not wish to cause David’s cookies to be based on my remarks, but to judge yourself. 5 stars for the cookies. 1 star for the seller who charges 2-4 times the cost of what these cookies actually sell for. Example, Costco, about $15 bucks. Making the seller of questionable character. The packaging was poor, causing the cookies to disintegrate as they are fragile. They are meltaways not crumbleaways....Definitely not worth buying from this seller. Go to costco, or ask a friend to grab you some on their next costco run. These cookies are worth having in your home, absolutely delicious!

I specifically ordered this product has I had tried them during the holidays and loved them. I ordered two tins and one tin looks ok. The other tin has no icing sugar on them and they are all crumbled and broken. Terrible to receive them like this and I try to replace them and I am told this item is not eligible for replacement. Even just to get my money back would be appreciated!

I could not find these in a local store so I purchased them online even though they were double the price. Unfortunately they are not the same quality as the first box I picked up in person. They seem stale, they are hard and dry, very disappointing.

I think I bought 15 tins. Amazon delivered to my family throughout Canada. They reminded me of a cookie my mother used to make. She no longer bakes. Sent a tin to her. She said they are more delicious than hers. Love love love these!!
