Excellent fit
Purchased this item after much trouble with a idling and stalling problem I was having on my 1991 F250 5.8lt windsor. The guys at ford were unable to pinpoint the cause and suggested replacing the throttle position sensor and throttle body. I ordered the throttle postion sensor though Amazon first and that made some difference, though it seemed the throttle body may be the problem. As these are hard to get in Australia I bought a second hand one ($350) from our local F series wrecker. Still the same as I guess it was only as good as the one I already had. Nothing left for it then but to take a chance on one of these. I was concerned about the larger bore size, 56mm instead of my original one with the 53mm bore. I found reviews elswhere that suggested a problem with air cavitation from larger size bore bodies fitted to Cobras etc, causing a whistling sound at the manifold which could be resolved by honing a taper into the lip of the manifold. This new one fitted up perfectly and with a few tweaks by the ford guys again she was running beautifully. There is a slight whistle sound at speeds over 115 klm/h, though only very slight and not a problem for my needs as a work truck. Thanks Amazon for helping sort out my beloved F'truck.

Replaced stock throttle body at 175k miles because I wanted to increase power at higher rpm in my 1993 5.0L F150. I could feel the difference, in that it took a little less pedal to maintain the same speed, as well as had more pedal to step on it if need be (also have shorty headers and K&N fipk, which likely allowed to the extra air to push). I did have to bent the lower coolant line so it wouldn't interfere with heater hoses, and had to buy a longer coolant hose to make it work. I'm a newbie at mechanical stuff, and I was able to figure it out.

So far so good. No complaints performance wise but not much gained ...
Installed throttle body on 1995 F150 5.0 4x4 extended cab. So far so good. No complaints performance wise but not much gained either. This is more of a supporting part if intake and exhaust are already done. Will be doing both soon and will update to reflect performance gained over stock. This part shows direct fit which is false. You will need to re-route the cooling lines because they hit other parts. It is purely a design flaw that needs to be fixed. I just bypassed the cooling lines going into the throttle body itself and this solved my issue. Also don't be alarmed if the throttle seems harder to depress. The springs are just a bit stiffer on this part. Other than that looks great and fixes the problem of plastic parts on the throttle linkage on top.

Now I'm gassed
I needed a replacement for the original throttle body on my 1989 Ford F-150 truck with 302 engine. The auto parts stores no longer carry the twin throttle body, only some aftermarket part that needs all sorts of modification. This throttle body fit my 1989 truck perfectly. but the coolant hose connections were slightly offset from the original equipment. A slightly longer hose on the lower coolant port made it work. No modifications and my truck now runs perfectly with the new throttle body.

Poor Quality
Arrived full of metal shavings, I've never seen anything like it before. Just running your finger along the inside would leave it completely shiny with all the shavings. The machining quality is awful, and it arrived with the coolant hose connections completely loose and falling out. The throttle linkage also hits the upper coolant port instead of the throttle stop.Wouldn't recommend this part in the slightest.

Not CA legal
Don’t buy this for a Bronco in CA. Hi nought this abiut a year ago. It didn’t come with a smog sticker I called them back asking if i can get one or return it. They said would send one out. Now 6 months later no sticker smog is ip amd now they tel me it’s too late to return and it’s not legal on Broncos … shady company. Would not use them for toilet paper.Update. They have agree to send me a sticker. It is not CA legal for a bronco but is for any F150… California bs Will update again if they do send.

Part is what I ordered
I’m going to put it on my 92 f250 when I get the rest of my parts. But the quality and work man ship. I can’t wait to get my truck back together and see. Thank you

Defective product
I'm sure the item works as described but after I installed I noticed there was a pin hole where coolant was leaking from the water jacket.

Bolt on performance for the 302 Bronco
The unit in whole looks great and finished really well. Comes with all the gaskets and seal for the TPS. The Bronco i have sounded like it had Bronchitis!! This BBK bolts straight on only issue was the bottom water hose faces a different direction so a small mod is required a longer bit of hose that's all. We now have a better throttle response...
